We will focus on decluttering the items that are no longer serving you. These items do not need to be packed up and taken to your next home. We will pack up the non-essentials to stage your home (if needed). Closer to moving day, we will finish up our sessions by packing the rest of your items.
Throughout this service, I will guide you to pack things in an organized way and label the boxes for easy unpacking. When you get to your new home (if it is in my service area), I can come back to help unpack and organize your new space by purchasing one of the above packages.

We will focus on decluttering the items that are not staying in the family and organizing the belongings that need to be distributed to loved ones.
Hopefully, having me help you through this process will take the stress out of this (already) hard time in your life.

Packages must be pre-paid. They can be used over multiple sessions/appointments. Any remaining hours following the completion of the project can be gifted or used on future projects. Any additional hours needed to complete a project will be billed at the hourly rate of $75.
If the travel time to the service location exceeds 30 minutes, an additional charge of $50 per session will be added.

The initial consultation is an informal discussion about what your space is like and what your goals are for that space. This allows us to get to know each other and discover if we are a good fit for each other. At this time, you can ask me any questions about the services I can provide and I will ask you a few as well. One question that I will ask is, "Are you ready to get rid of things that are no longer serving you?" Throughout this process, I promise to be fully transparent about what I believe I can and cannot help you with.
I offer three options for this initial consultation. We can schedule a 30 minute call, video chat or walk through your space with you to discuss the project. No matter what type of consultation you choose, I ask that I have a look at the space (photos or video work great!). I want you to know that we are in this together! While you may see piles of clutter, I see an opportunity to bring your space back to its full potential! I love decluttering and organizing - and I hope to share that love with you while having a great time, too!
Depending on the scope of work, we will decide on how many sessions we will work together.
First, we will sort the items and decide what you would like to keep. You will take the lead in making these decisions. After things have been sorted, we will find a home for your items in a way that makes sense for your day-to-day routine and organizing style. Finally, we will organize and label the spaces to help you maintain the new systems that we have set in place.
Depending on your needs and budget, you may decide to purchase storage containers or shelving. If so, we will discuss what items will best fit your space, organizing style, and budget. I can pick up these items for you and bring them to our next session to finish out the job.
You may also choose to have me work on your space without you. That is totally okay, too! Some people like to just leave it to me and be surprised! If that is the option you choose, I will follow a similar path, but I will be doing it independently. I am fully insured for your peace of mind!
Before I leave, I'm happy to take one car load of items to a donation center for you.
Once everything is sorted, decluttered, and organized, we will discuss how to best keep your space working for you and your family. Since everything will have a home at the end of this process, this should be much easier than it was in the past!
If, for any reason, your space needs some extra attention over time, I am happy to come back and help you tidy up! Some clients may choose to have me come back every other month, quarterly, or semi annually to keep things in check!
